The likes of Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli made the most of the batting conditions. Ajinkya Rahane and Shubman Gill’s failures open up opportunities for other batters in the squad. Another interesting selection dilemma will be between Isha Kishan and KS Bharat. Kishan played the first Test and the management might be tempted to give Bharat a chance in the second Test.

There is a possibility of change in the bowling attack as well with Ravichandran Ashwin expected to retain his place. The spinner took 12/131 and broke a plethora of records in Dominica. The management can rotate their bowlers and keep them fresh for a longer season. Navdeep Saini deserves a chance in the XI as does Mukesh Kumar.
