Mayank Agarwal
Mayank Agarwal after missing the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad should be fit to return against DC. The skipper has been short of runs and is yet to make his mark in this edition of the IPL. The management will hope that his good form kickstarts in this game.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa
The southpaw from Sri Lanka can be brought back into the XI instead of Odean Smith. It gives them a solid option with the bat. He was in good form in the first few games that he played. Rajapaksa instead of Smith seems to be a good chance for the side.
Jonny Bairstow
Bairstow has been batting at number three in the few games that he has played so far. He scored 12 off 10 balls against SRH. He will be better off batting as an opener which will give him the freedom to play and pace the innings for Punjab Kings.
Liam Livingstone
The big-hitter from England scored 60 against SRH. However, due to the lack of partners from the other end, could not push the score beyond 151. He has to consistently fire in the remaining games for Punjab Kings.
Harpreet Brar
Shahrukh Khan
The Tamil Nadu cricketer has not been able to finish games for his sie. Punjab paid nine crores for him at the mega auction but he has not repaid the faith still. However, they will need to back him as the side has no proper replacement.
Kagiso Rabada
The Protean pacer has not been able to perform to the expectations of the franchise. He has taken seven wickets in five matches so far and it is key for him to perform is Punajb are looking to win their remaining games.
Rahul Chahar
Chahar has been Punajb’s highest wicket-taker this season so far. He has picked 9 wickets from six games but has lacked the support from the other end. The rest of the bowlers need to back him for his team’s sake.
Vaibhav Arora
The youngster has done very well in the few games that he has played and will retain his place in the XI. In the last game against SRH, he was a touch expensive. However, he will retain his place in the XI.
