Quinton De Kock was released by Mumbai Indians despite having performed consistently between 2019 to 2021. He scored 1329 runs for the franchise in the last three years. However, due to the tight rules of the league and only 4 players being retainable, De Kock had to face the axe.

De Kock can potentially solve two problems for KKR. He can be their attacking opener up at the top and also their designated wicketkeeper. With Shubman Gill being released De Kock, can just be the right performance and stay with the franchise for a few years.

Delhi Capitals

De Kock can be back at Delhi Capitals for a second IPL stint with them. He can replace Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order, who might not be bought back by the franchise. A player with his attacking intent to score runs in the format is what the franchise would look to bank on.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

De Kock also played for the SRH in his initial years in the IPL. The franchise has also released the likes of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow in a bid to revamp the side. This is where De Kock could be an ideal replacement. He also is a keeper which can solve two problems with his abilities.

Both the new teams can look to get Quinton De Kock into their side. Lucknow has roped in KL Rahul and De Kock can be his opening partner.
