Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer Prasidh Krishna provided an excellent start for his team in the finals against the Gujarat Titans (GT) as he dismissed Wriddhiman Saha for a low score.
After RR opted to bat first in what was termed a bold decision, Gujarat bowlers led by their skipper, Hardik Pandya, restricted the Royals to 130/9 in the 20 overs which is well below-par.
In response, RR needed quick wickets considering the chasing expertise of their opponents and Prasidh took on the responsibility of doing so. After Trent Boult bowled an economical first over, Saha tried to accelerate in the next.
However, Prasidh extracted movement and bounce and forced one through the gap between Saha’s bat and pad. The middle stump was uprooted and Prasidh roared in delight at the sight.
