IPL 2022: He Is Like My Brother And Brothers Do Fight - Deepak Hooda On Relationship With Krunal Pandya
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) cricketer Deepak Hooda has finally opened up on the relationship between his former Baroda teammate and current LSG fellowman, Krunal Pandya.
The two had an ugly altercation while playing in the domestic circuit following which, Hooda switched allegiances from Baroda to Rajasthan. Incidentally, they were picked up by the same franchise in the IPL 2022 mega auction.
Expectedly, fans began wondering how the two of them could play for the same team after all the accusations. Hooda has finally revealed his standing with Krunal in a conversation with Dainik Jagran.
“Krunal Pandya is like my brother, and brothers do fight. We are playing with one aim, which is to win games for LSG,” Hooda said.
Additionally, it has been a good season for Hooda so far. He is the top scorer for his franchise having scored a fighting fifty against SRH in their previous game. He hopes to play for India in the upcoming World Cup.
“Just like everyone even my dream is to represent India at World Cup, however, my job is to deliver good performances and leave the rest for the selectors to decide. I’m an all-rounder and along with the bat, my target is to perform well with the ball too and I don’t think anything else apart from this,” he further added.
