Royal Challengers Bangalore paceman Josh Hazelwood said that captain Faf Du Plessis has a laid-back stance on keeping things simple and that he achieved this goal in his team’s bowling attack on Friday.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore overcame the Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs at DY Patil Stadium on Tuesday, thanks to Pacer’s 4/25 and captain Plessis’ 96 off 64 deliveries.

During the talk, Josh Hazelwood mentioned how great it felt to take four wickets in a match. And that Marcus Stoinis’ dismissal was one of his favorites.

Everyone is bowling and playing at the same wicket,” the bowler remarked of his strategy for the next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. “Give it your all.”

“As a captain, Faf has performed admirably. He has a wonderful, laid-back attitude when it comes to keeping things simple and transparent. He is a supporter of the bowling attack. It’s also a senior bowling team.”

In a post-match interview with explosive batter Glenn Maxwell, the pacer observed, “Whenever we are under a little bit of stress, he is there.”

As a result, after being allowed to bat first by LSG, RCB produced 181/6 in their 20 overs. Because of Plessis’ 96, which was backed by brief. However, Shahbaz Ahmed (26) and Maxwell (26) both had significant innings (21).

Despite the frequent loss of wickets, Krunal Pandya (42), and KL Rahul (40) played good innings (30). Marcus Stoinis (24) kept the LSG hopes alive by keeping the scoreboard ticking. With his 4/25, however, Josh Hazelwood got the last laugh. And meant that the Giants missed out on their fifth run of the competition by 18 runs.

RCB is in the second position in the points standings with 10 points and will play Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 23. On the other hand, LSG is in the fourth position and will take on the Mumbai Indians on April 24.
