Later, 3 wicket-haul by Avesh Khan and Jason Holder restricted KKR to just 101 all-out, with 8 batsmen losing wickets for single digits. LSG won by 75 runs.

Kolkata Knight Riders won their previous match of IPL 2022 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Batting first, KKR faced a minor batting collapse at the start, but Andre Russell’s astonishing batting ensured a good total of 177-6 for the team. Later, Andre Russell also picked a 3-wicket haul as SRH was demolished for 123-8 in 20 overs, losing the match by 54 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 41 while Sanju Samson and Devdull Padikkal added 32 and 39 respectively. Later, Deepak Hooda scored 59 runs for LSG but they lost a few quick wickets at the start. LSG eventually ended with 154-8 on the board.
