Faf du Plessis
Du Plessis is the highest scorer for RCB in IPL 2022 with 443 runs from 14 games. He has a chance to add to that tally as RCB eyes their first IPL final since 2016.
Glenn Maxwell
Maxwell also came good in the last game for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He scored 40 off just 18 balls and played a timely cameo. He would like to repeat the same against LSG.
Rajat Patidar
He will bat either at number three or four depending on the match situation. His role will be to get the scoring going in the middle overs.
Mahipal Lomror
Lomror can be used as a floater in the batting-order. He is a hard-hitter from Rajasthan and should retain his place from the last game.
Dinesh Karthik
Karthik’s prowess as a finisher was on show in this year’s IPL. He got a recall to the Indian team for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa. So far this season, he has scored 287 runs, 213 of which came in the death overs. He has been striking at 191.
Shahbaz Ahmed
The left-handed all-rounder has played the perfect foil to Dinesh Karthik batting in the final overs. His spin bowling has been a big plus as well when it comes to bowling in the middle-overs.
Wanindu Hasaranga
Hasaranga has been the standout performer with the ball for RCB He is second on the list with 24 wickets and needs to play a vital role in the Eliminator for his side.
Harshal Patel
Patel has taken 18 wickets this season so far. He has not been as successful as he was last year but has been impactful nonetheless. He has to bowl his side to victory in this game.
Josh Hazlewood
Hazlewood has been another consistent performer for the side. He has picked up 15 wickets so far in the season. He will have to play a key role if the Royal Challengers Bangalore are to play the second qualifier.
Siddharth Kaul / Mohammed Siraj
Either Siraj or Kaul can play as the third pacer depending on the team combination and the playing conditions. Siraj was retained by Bangalore ahead of the mega auction but has failed to deliver for them consistently.
