KKR vs SRH- Prediction, Who Will Win The Match Between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad? IPL 2021 Match 49. Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 49th match of IPL 2021 on Sunday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Both the teams are coming off a defeat in their last game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings in their last game. SRH don’t really have anything to lose from here. They are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table and are already out of the contention of reaching the playoffs. They have three games remaining and the franchise would be looking to give as many chances to the youngsters as possible.
Abhishek Sharma played some attractive shots in the last couple of games. A half-century from him in the next game could give him a world of confidence. Kane Williamson, Saha and Jason Roy are all amongst the runs.
Given the talent they possess at the top of the order, SRH certainly has the potential to post a big total on the board. Bhuvneshkar Kumar’s returns with the ball haven’t been inspiring. Jason Holder has done well in both the departments in the last two games. He will have a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, while the team would expect Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul to exhibit better performances.
Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, are still in contention for the playoffs. They have five wins in 12 matches so far. It could have been six wins had they not lost their last game against Punjab Kings on Friday.
The absence of Lockie Ferguson and Andre Russell took a toll on their performance. Despite getting a strong start, Kolkata couldn’t end their innings on a good note. They lacked a finisher in the team who could give the late flourish. Skipper Eoin Morgan’s poor form continued with the bat. Dinesh Karthik too hasn’t made a telling impact either.
With Morgan enduring a torrid run, can Kolkata replace him with Shakib Al Hasan in the next game? Chances of that happening are highly unlikely but it won’t be a wrong decision either. Kolkata Knight have only two matches remaining. They need to win both of them to remain in the hunt for the top four.
Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana will be their biggest bets in the batting department. As far as bowling is concerned, the eight overs shared between Chakravarthy and Narine will be crucial.
