RR vs MI Head to Head Records: Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) H2H Record Against Mumbai Indians (MI)- IPL 2021 Match 51. Rajasthan Royals will take on Mumbai Indians in the 51st match of IPL 2021 on Tuesday. Despite winning five games each in the tournament, both sides are still in contention of making the playoffs. However, another defeat from here for either side could make things really difficult for them.

Mumbai Indians have had a forgettable season so far. They have to win both the remaining matches with a big margin to book a playoff berth. Their recent form isn’t too great. They are coming into this game on the back of a morale-shattering defeat at the hands of the Delhi Capitals. Once again, the batting unit failed to hit the straps as they could only manage to score 129 runs in the first innings.

Both the openers departed early, which was followed by another poor show from the middle order. Suryakumar Yadav played some pleasant drives and looked solid during his 26-ball 33. His return to form is a good sign for the side. However, the likes of Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya really need to dish out better performances.

The bowling department is doing alright. They fought hard in the second innings and also took vital wickets at regular intervals. However, one knew that they had scored 20-30 runs less in the first innings. Delhi Capitals chased down the score in 19.1 overs.

Facing them are Rajasthan Royals, who would be confident of winning their second consecutive game on Tuesday. They registered a seven-wicket victory in the last game against table toppers, Chennai Super Kings. Rajasthan Royals exhibited a brilliant display of batting against the table toppers.

In pursuit of a 189-run target, Rajasthan Royals made a blistering start. Ewin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal took on the bowlers right from the onset and added 70 runs inside the first six overs.

Ewin Lewis scored a short little 27-run cameo off 12 balls but Yashasvi Jaiswal went on to score the maiden half-century of his IPL career. The southpaw hit 6 fours and 3 sixes en-route to his 50 off 21 balls. The entertainment didn’t stop even after he departed.

Playing his first game in the UAE leg of the tournament, Shivam Dube struck boundaries all around the park. He hit some gigantic sixes during his 64-run unbeaten knock off 42 balls. His knock helped the team chase down the total in just 17.3 overs.

Earlier, RR bowlers were clobbered for sixes all across the park as CSK posted a formidable 189-run total. Rahul Tewatia picked three wickets but other than that, there wasn’t any notable contribution from any other bowler.
