Delhi Capitals has suffered a big blow ahead of IPL 2023 as their skipper Rishabh Pant will not be available for the tournament due to his recent car accident. During IPL auction 2023, Delhi Capitals bought 5 players. Rilee Rossouw was their most expensive player at Rs. 4.6 crore.

David Warner (C)

David Warner should be the other opener for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023. The left-handed batsman should also lead the team in the absence of Rishabh Pant. The Aussie batter scored 432 runs in 12 games last season at an average of 48.0 and a strike rate of 150+. He also slammed 5 half-centuries last season.

Manish Pandey
