IND vs NZ 2021: New Zealand’s Predicted Playing XI For The First T20I
Martin Guptill:

Martin Guptill has been in good form in the T20 World cup 2021 and he can be a destructive top-order batsman in limited-overs cricket when he gets going. He has immense experience in the format and is likely to hold on to his place in the playing XI against India. The 35-year-old is one of the fewest players to reach 3000 T20I runs and he deserves his place in the XI.
Daryl Mitchell:

Daryl Mitchell was one of the stars behind New Zealand’s successful stint in the T20 World cup 2021 so far and he has been very impressive at the top of the order. He can also bowl some handy medium pace and his unbeaten knock of 72 off just 47 balls had taken the Kiwis into the finals of the tournament from a difficult position.
Kane Williamson(C):

Kane Williamson has been a cool and calm customer at number three and he is a batsman in any format of the game. The New Zealand skipper has been contributing at crucial times and he is one of the underrated performers in T20 cricket. He will have an eye on beating India in the subcontinent which is not going to be easy.
Devon Conway(WK):

Devon Conway’s wicket-keeping abilities have kept New Zealand’s combinations going in the T20 World cup 2021 and he has been in terrific form in the last two years. He played a big hand in the semi-final against England and was brilliant against spin bowling. The left-hander is very consistent and should feature in playing XI against India.

Mitchell Santner:

Mitchell Santner has been one of the most economical bowlers in the T20 World cup 2021 and the left-arm spinner wasn’t used much with the ball in the semi-final. His ability to keep hitting the good length consistently has been working well for him and he should be an automatic choice for the second spin option in Indian conditions.
Tim Southee:

Tim Southee has had yet another excellent ICC tournament and he has bowled with so much control in the powerplay as well in death overs. The right arm seamer has hit the hard lengths for the batsman in the powerplay and has taken some crucial wickets in the middle overs. He is another underrated T20 star who should be recognized a lot more.
Kyle Jamieson:
Trent Boult:

Trent Bould is one of the seasoned campaigners who is a great asset for the Kiwis in all formats. Boult has had a terrific T20 World cup so far in terms of economy rate as well as taking wickets. His swing bowling in the powerplay and his ability to hit the yorkers in the death overs is always an added advantage to any side he plays.
Ish Sodhi:

Ish Sodhi is one of the best leg spinners going around in the world at the moment and he has taken heaps of wickets in the big tournament. He can play a big role in turning wickets and he will love bowling in the Indian conditions. He is going to be the first-choice spin option against India in the playing XI as well.
