Cricket Pakistan Super League 2023 (PSL)
The Pakistan Super League 2023 or PSL 2023 was the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League. Six teams participated in the competition that was held from February 13 to March 18 in Pakistan. A total of 34 matches were played.
According to the competition format, each team was required to play against the other five teams twice before the top four teams qualified for the playoffs. Lahore Qalandars were the defending champions and went on to become the first-ever PSL team to defend its title. They beat Multan Sultans by 1 run in the final to clinch their second PSL title.

PSL 2023 Points Table
After the double round robin format, reigning champions Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi qualified for the playoffs of PSL 2023. While the Qalandars won 7 games, Sultans and United managed 6 wins each. The Zalmi finished their league campaign with 5 wins. Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators missed out after managing just 3 wins from 10 games.

PSL 2023 Stats
At the end of the season, the player with most runs received a Green cap and the Hanif Mohammad Award while the player with most wickets received a Maroon cap and the Fazal Mahmood Award. Multan Sultans' Mohammad Rizwan was the highest run-scorer in the tournament.
The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 550 runs in 12 matches. Multan Sultans' Abbas Afridi finished at the highest wicket-taker. He picked up 23 wickets in 11 games.
