PSL 2023 Final: Watch- David Wiese Foxes Usman Khan & Thrashes His Stumps

Lahore Qalandars (LHQ) had won the toss & elected to bat first against Multan Sultans (MS). LHQ posted a competitive score of 200-6 in PSL 2023 final where it was a collective effort from the batters. Multan Sultans’ openers Mohammad Rizwan & Usman Khan got the team to a flyer as they scored 40 runs in 3 overs. Usman Khan was seen smashing an odd boundary.

The pitch is a belter one where LHQ bowlers will have to contain the batters & make sure that they don’t give any freebies to the opposition team. Multan Sultans fans would be hoping that Mohammad Rizwan bats deep as the right-handed batter is someone who can hold one end where the rest of the batters can bat around him.

David Wiese came into the attack and was bowling the 4th over and on the 3rd delivery, Wiese bowled a slower ball & deceived Usman Khan & crashed his stumps. Enthralling Contest on Cards

All eyes would be on Rilee Rossouw as the left-handed batter has the knack of changing the complexion of the match quickly with his brisk stroke play. It won’t be wrong to say that the partnership of Rizwan & Rossouw would be decisive as it would be quite tough for the likes of Pollard & Tim David to score runs against the spinners.

LHQ skipper Shaheen Afridi so far has had a forgettable outing with the ball in his hand where he has given 34 runs in 2 overs. It won’t be a bad idea for Shaheen to introduce himself in the middle overs for a solitary over. It would be interesting to see how Shaheen uses Sikandar Raza as the off-spinner has got a lot of variations.
