“Best T20 Batsman In The World” – Twitter Hails Suryakumar Yadav As He Decimates South Africa In 2nd T20I

India National Cricket Team middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav played a remarkable knock with the bat in the second match of the three-match T20I series between Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Temba Bavuma-led South Africa National Cricket Team at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday, October 2.

Suryakumar Yadav, who is India’s highest-ranked T20I batter in the ICC Men’s T20I Batting rankings, came out to bat after the dismissal of KL Rahul in the 12th over.

The 32-year-old played his natural aggressive game from the very beginning of his sensational innings. He showcased his amazing 360-degree gameplay and smashed boundaries all over the park.

Suryakumar Yadav reached the half-century milestone off just 18 balls. His 18-ball fifty is the joint-second fastest half-century by an Indian player in the history of T20I cricket.

Overall, Suryakumar smashed terrific 61 runs off 22 balls, including 5 fours and 5 sixes. He batted with a strike rate of 277.27.

Also, Suryakumar has become the fastest player in the history of T20I cricket to reach the 1000 runs milestone in terms of balls faced. He is also the 3rd fastest Indian batter to reach the 1000 T20I runs landmark in terms of matches played.
