IND vs SA: 5 Player Battles To Watch Out For
KL Rahul vs Kagiso Rabada

David Miller vs Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal

Miller is one of the hardest hitters in the modern game. Gujarat Titans used him as their finisher and he hit the pacers and the spinners alike. Miller favours pace and has a bit of an issue playing the spinners. He often fails to pick the googlies as was evident in the IPL. Thus a battle between him and the ‘Kulcha’ pair will be an interesting one in the series.
Hardik Pandya vs Tabraiz Shamsi

It will be interesting to see if India used Hardik as a finisher or bats him up the order. If they use him as a finisher, he might face a lot of spin in the middle overs from Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj. This battle can very well determine the outcome of the games.
Quinton de Kock vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The experience of Bhuneshwar Kumar will be on show as he takes on the South African batters. Quinton de Kock will open the batting for the visitors and will face plenty of Bhuvi throughout the series. The veteran Indian pacer can swing the ball both ways early on in his spell. De Kock is always eager to play across the line early on in his innings. He has been also dismissed several times by playing on.
Aiden Markram vs Umran Malik

Malik and Markram were teammates at SRH in IPL 2022. Both have faced and seen plenty of each other at the others. Back on the international side, the right-hander might have to tackle the pace of the Jammu speedster while opening the batting. This might be a defining battle as well.
