The harmony in the Pakistan dressing room in the last ten days has got a drastic contrast. They entered the tournament as the favourites with all the required ingredients under their belt. But, a couple of games against India in Asia Cup 2018 completely changed the course of their approach. Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik wants Pakistan to learn from Indian system.

Shoaib Malik lauded the Indian team for shaping the youngsters in a decent way by igniting the confidence in them. Furthermore, the Pakistani cricketer wants seniors to share their tricks and techniques with the youngsters.

India is the best side in the world – Shoaib Malik

Further, Shoaib Malik wants the board and officials to give enough time for the youngsters without making any regular changes. He also asked his players to learn from the opposition side players to get better.

“When you are in a building process, you need time. It’s not a time to panic and change players. If you change a lot of players, newcomers will also need time. We have to see India’s system, how they develop their players. They are the best side in the world. You have to give confidence to the players that the management, the captain and selection committee have picked,” Malik said in the pre-match press conference.

”We need to learn from how Bumrah and Bhuvi are bowling. The Indian team has a lot of very experienced players. Our boys can only learn from players who have played so many matches and also from their young players. It’s not like someone with 200 matches cannot learn from those who have played 5-10 matches. They can learn from anyone,” the 36-year-old said.

Pakistan needs to skip Bangladesh hurdle to enter Asia Cup 2018 final:

The loss against India kept Pakistan in a tricky position. They need to leap the Bangladesh hurdle in order to face India in the finals of the tournament. On the other hand, Bangladesh is also determined to make it to the final for the second time in a row.

However, it would be an exciting match with both the teams already finding their flaws in the tournament. Pakistan has got the slight advantage in the game compared to Bangladesh in playing pressure-filled games.
