Indian Cricket Team had won the toss & decided to bowl first against the dangerous Australian Cricket Team. Hardik Pandya was leading the side in the absence of Rohit Sharma (*due to some personal reasons). Hardik Pandya didn’t panic when Mitchell Marsh & Steve Smith were threatening to take the game away from the opponent with their brisk stroke-play.

Australia had scored 59 runs in the powerplay overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Mitchell Marsh was striking the ball cleanly. The batter was undone by the sheer brilliance of Ravindra Jadeja. Mitchell Marsh had scored 81 runs in 65  balls where he struck 10 fours & 5 sixes and would rue of missing out on a well-deserving ton.

Watch: Virat Kohli furious on Hardik Pandya

At the end of 20 overs, Australia’s score was 129-3. Kuldeep Yadav was bowling the 21st over when Virat Kohli was suggesting a change in the field where Hardik Pandya walked away from that conversation & later Virat Kohli was seen quite furious and saying something. It won’t be wrong to say that Hardik Pandya should have at least listened to Virat Kohli as he was one of the finest captains of Indian Cricket.

India Beat Australia By 5 Wickets

Indian Cricket Team won a thriller against Australia in the 1st ODI. The Men in Blue won the match by 5 wickets and continued their dominance over Australia. KL Rahul & Ravindra Jadeja were involved in a match-winning partnership of 108 runs. Ravindra Jadeja scored 45 runs in 69 balls where he struck 5 fours & while bowling took 2 wickets in his 9-over spell where he gave away 46 runs.

KL Rahul silenced all the outside noise by playing a scintillating knock of 75 runs in 91 balls where he struck 7 fours & 1 six. It looks unlikely that Ishan Kishan would feature in the 2nd ODI as the batter couldn’t make an impact in the opening slot as well after a forgettable ODI series against New Zealand where he was slated in the middle order.
