IND vs PAK: "We Discuss What To..." - Rohit Sharma On His Camaraderie With Virat Kohli

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma recently talked about his camaraderie with Virat Kohli. He said that the two gel really well and ahead of the games they discuss about opposition and their players.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been the backbone of the Indian Cricket Team for more than one decade. The duo have carried the Indian team on their shoulders and have taken the side to great heights in all three formats of the game.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have shared ample of partnerships over the years and have won team many games on their own. The duo often have been seen engaging in chat during the games and discussing a lot when things didn’t go their way.
Rohit Sharma while talking about his relationship with Virat Kohli said that they plan really well for the opposition. Speaking in an interview with veteran journalist Vimal Kumar, he explained:
“(On camaraderie with Kohli) We discuss what to do series by series regarding the opposition players. What to do and what not.”
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be two of the most important batters for the Indian team in the next two months. They are currently playing in the Asia Cup 2023 and their real test will begin when they will be plying their trade in the ICC World Cup 2023, set to be played from 5th October in India.
IND vs PAK: I don’t think too far ahead – Rohit Sharma On playing 100 Tests
Rohit Sharma further was asked if he’s eyeing playing 100 Tests. Replying to this, he said that he doesn’t think too far and currently is focused on the Asia Cup, the ODI series against Australia and the ICC World Cup 2023. He explained:
“(On dream of playing 100 Tests) I don’t think too far ahead. I have two things coming up in front – Asia Cup and the World Cup. I am currently focused on the Asia Cup and then there is the Australia series as well.”
“My focus is on short-term things. It’s better to focus on what’s in the present. What will happen in the future will depend upon what you are doing now.”
Rohit Sharma will be next seen in action when India will take on Pakistan in the super four stage of the Asia Cup 2023. The Indian captain didn’t have a good outing in the first game against arch-rivals as he yet again perished to the left-arm pacer.
However, he made a solid return in the next game against Nepal. Rohit Sharma slammed a magnificent half-century and looked solid. He scored an unbeaten 74 runs off 59 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 125.52 and also smashed six fours and 5 massive sixes in his innings.
