Surat will host the LLC 2023 Eliminator between Gujarat Giants and India Capitals on December 6, Wednesday. The match will be played at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium which will also host the Qualifier 2 and the final.

The Giants finished third on the points table with three wins from five games while India Capitals managed to make it to the playoffs as the fourth team with just one win in five games.

The Giants led by Parthiv Patel defeated Bhilwara Kings, Urbanrisers Hyderabad, and Southern Super Stars while their legue match against the India Capitals was abandoned due to a wet outfield.

The India Capitals won just one match and lost three. They lost to Bhilwara Kings, Urbanrisers Hyderabad, and Manipal Tigers. The win came against the Southern Super Stars. The Superstars and the Kings also won a game each but the Capitals qualified on better NRR (+0.303).

Surat’s Lalabhai Contractor Stadium hosts the final leg of the tournament which is the knockout. Urban Risers Hyderabad beat the Manipal Tigers by 75 runs to qualify for the final which will be played on December 9.

Ranchi hosted matches from November 18 to 23. Dehradun was the second city to host the LLC 2023 matches from November 24-26. The action then shifted to Jammu for the third phase from November 29-December 1. Vizag was the last of the venues to host the league matches.

The India Capitals vs Gujarat Giants LLC 2023 Eliminator match will be played in Surat. The match starts at 6.30 pm IST. So far four women’s T20I matches have been played at this venue with teams batting first winning thrice. The Hyderabad team posted 253 in Qualifier 1 batting first and hence batted the Manipal Tigers out of the game. The Eliminator should also be a high-scoring contest.
