IPL 2021: Complete Schedule Of Mumbai Indians For The Tournament

IPL 2021 dates have been announced and the tournament is set to kickstart on April 9, 2021. There are six venues where are all matches will be played during IPL 2021. Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match of IPL 2021. The match will be played in Chennai.
The playoffs and final matches have been scheduled to be played at Narendra Modi Cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. Taking note of the Covid 19 situation, BCCI has decided to play the matches under closed doors at the initial stages. However, the decision of allowing spectators will be taken during the later stage of the tournament.
Mumbai Indians Complete Schedule For IPL 2021
Mumbai Indians won the last two IPL trophies in IPL 2019 and IPL 2020. They will be eyeing the trophy for the third time in a row. MI have won the IPL tournament for a record five times. Ahead of IPL 2021 auction, MI released seven players out of their squad. They were Prince Balwant Rai, Digvijay Deshmukh, Lasith Malinga, Nathan Coulter-Nile, James Pattinson, Sherfane Rutherford, and Mitchell McCleneghan.
The 17 cricketers which Mumbai Indians retained for IPL 2021 were Rohit Sharma, Aditya Tare, Anmolpreet Singh, Anukul Roy, Dhawal Kulkarni, Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Jasprit Bumrah, Jayant Yadav, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Quinton de Kock, Rahul Chahar, Suryakumar Yadav, Trent Boult, Chris Lynn, Saurabh Tiwary and Mohsin Khan.
In IPL 2021 auction, MI bought Nathan Coulter-Nile, Adam Milne, Piyush Chawla, James Neesham, Yudhvir Charak, Marco Jansen, and Arjun Tendulkar.
