Mumbai Indians take on KKR in the reverse fixture in Kolkata on Saturday, May 11. MI lost to KKR after 12 years at the Wankhede in their previous meeting.

MI came back to winning ways in the previous game against SRH with SKY scoring an unbeaten century to win the game for the five-time champions.

Mumbai Indians have no chance of qualifying for the playoffs. However, they can play spoilsport in KKR's campaign if they beat them in Kolkata.

In 10 matches at the venue, MI have won seven games, and KKR just three. This is the first time both teams are playing at Eden Gardens since 2019. KKR won a high-scoring game by 34 runs when the two sides last met at this venue.

MI were clinical in their win against SRH. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya were among the wickets. However, Rohit Sharma not being amongst the runs is a big concern. With nothing to lose MI can go on an all-out attack against KKR.

Ishan Kishan (WK)

Kishan will open the batting with Rohit. He was snubbed from the T20 World Cup selection based on his recent form. He scored 13 and 9 in the last two games.

Suryakumar Yadav

SKY will slot in at three. He remains the big threat for KKR in this game. he is the only MI batter in form with scores of 56 and 102* in the last two games.

Tilak Varma

The southpaw will slot in at four. He is MI's top run-getter this season with 384 runs from 12 games. He has scored 300-plus in the last three seasons and has a chance to get to 400 runs this year.

Hardik Pandya (C)

Pandya will slot in at five. He has been wickets in the last two games taking five in total. However, his form with the bat this season has been poor.

Tim David

David will slot in at six. He played an important innings of 24 off 20 balls in the last match against KKR but could not take MI to a win.

Mohammad Nabi

Nabi can slot in at seven. The Afghanistan veteran is a wily off-spinner and a hard-hitter with the ball and can be useful for his team at Eden Gardens.

Gerald Coetzee

Coetzee can bat at eight. He had a chance to win the game for his team against KKR but he could not. He has taken 13 wickets from 10 games so far this season.

Piyush Chawla

Jasprit Bumrah

Bumrah is in good bowling form with 18 wickets for the season. Tough MI has not done well this season, Bumrah's bowling form will keep the Indian team happy heading into the T20 World Cup.

Nuwan Thusara

Thusara concludes the likely MI playing XI against KKR. He took 3/42 in the previous fixture against KKR and rattled the side early. He needs to bowl well once again.

Impact Sub: Nehal Wadhera

The hard-hitter Nehal Wadhera might be the impact sun for MI against KKR. The southpaw scored just 6 off 11 balls in the previous game against KKR.
