Mumbai Indians take on KKR in the reverse fixture in Kolkata on Saturday, May 11. MI lost to KKR after 12 years at the Wankhede in their previous meeting.
MI came back to winning ways in the previous game against SRH with SKY scoring an unbeaten century to win the game for the five-time champions.
Mumbai Indians have no chance of qualifying for the playoffs. However, they can play spoilsport in KKR's campaign if they beat them in Kolkata.
In 10 matches at the venue, MI have won seven games, and KKR just three. This is the first time both teams are playing at Eden Gardens since 2019. KKR won a high-scoring game by 34 runs when the two sides last met at this venue.
MI were clinical in their win against SRH. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya were among the wickets. However, Rohit Sharma not being amongst the runs is a big concern. With nothing to lose MI can go on an all-out attack against KKR.
