Watch: Ishan Kishan Takes A Sensational Diving Catch To Get Rid Of David Warner

The ongoing match between Mumbai Indians and SunRisers Hyderabad has witnessed some exciting fielding displays with the latest one coming from Ishan Kishan. It was Manish Pandey, who took a diving catch to remove Ishan Kishan of Mumbai Indians in the first innings. The keeper-batsman returned the favour by dismissing the opposing skipper, David Warner.

The incident occurred in the 16th over when David Warner desperately wanted to accelerate with the asking rate keeping on increasing. Warner’s countryman James Pattinson came to bowl his final over and delivered a wide delivery. The southpaw did not avoid it and instead reached out; however, ended up slicing it to the short third man fielder. Ishan Kishan put full-length dive to take the catch as the dangerman perished for a fighting 60 off 44 deliveries.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians elected to bat first after winning the toss. While Rohit Sharma departed in the first over itself, the likes of Quinton De Kock, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav kept the runs coming. It was Krunal Pandya, who provided the flourish on this occasion by hammering Siddharth Kaul for 21 runs in the last over to lift his side to 208.

At the time of writing this, the task got increasingly difficult for the SunRisers Hyderabad as they needed 47 runs off the final two overs. Eventually, Mumbai Indians’ sensational bowling attack limited the Orange Army to 171-8, securing two points and surging to the top of the table.
