IND vs AUS: India’s Predicted Playing XI Against Australia- ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Warm-Up Match. India will take on Australia in their next warm-up match in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The India vs Australia warm-up match will take place on October 20 at ICC Cricket Academy Ground in Dubai. Australia defeated New Zealand in their previous warm-up match while India defeated England in their last warm-up game.

Australia are part of group 1 in the tournament while India are part of group 2. Australia have teams like West Indies, South Africa, and England in their pool. In India’s group, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are other teams. 4 more teams will also join these groups later. KL Rahul might join Rohit Sharma as an opener. Both the players are going to open the innings for India in the tournament. Hence, the team might want them to play a match together as openers. KL Rahul slammed a marvellous 51-run knock off 24 balls in the previous warm-up game and looking in great touch.

Virat Kohli will lead the side in the next game as well. Virat Kohli is going to bat at no. 3 spot for India during ICC T20 World Cup 2021. In the last game, he could not score a good knock and got out for just 11. He might want to play more to get back his form before the tournament begins.

Rishabh Pant (WK)

Rishabh Pant will the wicket-keeper in the next game as well. Pant is the primary wicket-keeper for India in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. In the previous game, the left-handed batsman scored unbeaten 29 runs. He was looking confident and managed to hit few big shots.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav is another player who might be part of the team in the next warm-up game. Since IPL 2021 UAE leg, Yadav has failed to perform with the bat excluding the last match of Mumbai Indians in which he scored 82. The right-handed batsman got out cheaply in the first warm-up game scoring 8. Hence, the team might want him to play more balls ahead of the tournament.

Hardik Pandya is another batsman who will be part of the team in the next game. Pandya is also struggling with a poor batting form since IPL 2021. In the previous warm-up match against England, he played few balls and managed to keep his wicket. Although he picked 1 wicket, he conceded 43 runs in his over and emerged expensive. He has also struggled with his form during IPL 2021 UAE leg. Hence, the team might want him to bowl more overs before the actual campaign starts in ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

Varun Chakravarthy
