Aakash Chopra has commended the Delhi Capitals (DC) for beating their hardships to destroy the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the last evening’s IPL 2022 game.

The former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) player featured that the Delhi Capitals utilized their spinners splendidly to hoodwink the Punjab Kings hitters. Chopra observed:
“They (Delhi) came out with the spin to win mantra – Lalit Yadav, Axar and Kuldeep’s bowling. They strangulated the opposition with spin. They brought out the weakness of Punjab that they don’t play spin well.”
Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Lalit Yadav scalped six wickets and yielded only 45 runs in the 10 overs they bowled. Patel, specifically, was at his tightfisted best, surrendering only 10 runs in his four-over spell while also getting two wickets.

“If we talk about the batting – David Warner and Prithvi Shaw – they are explosive. Prithvi sent a lot of balls on the tour of the sky. David Warner has become a beast, has played three consecutive good knocks, he is not taking the name of stopping.”
The 116-run target was never going to be difficult for the Delhi Capitals. David Warner ( 60 off 30 balls) and Prithvi Shaw’s ( 41 off 20 balls) dangerous strokes at the top order helped Delhi Capitals pursue the target with 57 balls still left.
