4. Shardul Thakur- 21
Shardul Thakur takes the 4th spot on this list. In IPL 2021, the right-arm pacer picked 21 wickets for Chennai Super Kings and was the top wicket-taker for the team. He was part of Delhi Capitals. He averaged 18.75 in the tournament and bowled at an economy of 7.37. Avesh Khan will play for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2022.
1. Harshal Patel- 32
Harshal Patel was the top wicket-taker of IPL 2021 with 32 wickets. Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Patel was impressive from the 1st game itself where he clinched a 5-wicket haul. He played 15 matches and averaged 14.34.
He held an economy of 8.14. Patel also equalled Dwayne Bravo’s record for most wickets in a single IPL season. The right-arm pacer will again play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022.
