MI vs LSG: Watch - Murugan Ashwin Uproots Manish Pandey's Stump To Provide Breakthrough For MI

Mumbai Indians (MI) leg-spinner Murugan Ashwin broke the threatening partnership between KL Rahul and Manish Pandey by dismissing the latter during their day game at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.

Rahul and Manish had joined hands at the fall of Quinton de Kock’s wicket. They began rebuilding in order to set up the platform for their big hitters to attack in the death overs.

Rahul helped himself to a well-made fifty while Manish was on his way to get his before Murugan had the final say. He tossed one up on the middle stump, which led to Manish attempting a slash across the line.

The Karnataka batter completely missed and the ball crashed into the leg stump, uprooting it. Their 72-run alliance came to an end but Manish had done his job and set a perfect platform for the rest of the batters to build on.
