IPL Auction Team Squad
The highly-awaited IPL 2025 mega auction is just a handful of days away. The two-day event will be taking place on November 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia.
A total of 1574 players have registered themselves for the IPL 2025 mega auction although the list will be pruned after consultations between the IPL and the franchises. Even though the list will be pruned, there will be absolutely no shortage of star power during the auction as several big names will be going under the hammer.
A total of ten teams will be participating in the IPL once again. Below is the list of the ten teams that will be competing in IPL 2025.

- Lucknow Super Giants
- Mumbai Indians
- Punjab Kings

The ten teams have retained a total of 46 players ahead of the auction. Of the 46 players, 36 are Indians and the remaining 10 are overseas. Only Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have retained the full quota of six players. Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants have retained five players each.
Delhi Capitals have retained four players while Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings have retained three and two players respectively.
Talking about the IPL squads, each franchise's squad can have a maximum of 25 players (minimum size is 18). Each squad can have a maximum of eight overseas players. Here is a list showing the number of slots available for each team to fill during the auction:
