Manish Pandey's IPL career began in 2008. Just a few weeks after helping India win the Under-19 World Cup, Manish Pandey got the chance to showcase his talent on a grand stage. Manish Pandey's first IPL team is Mumbai Indians. Even though Pandey was one of the most sought-after youngsters at that time, he struggled to get chances regularly in the star-studded Mumbai Indians lineup. He played only 3 games for the side before joining Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2009. Pandey went on to announce his arrival in the IPL in 2009 by becoming the first-ever Indian to hit a century in the competition. He played a key role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's march to the final. Pandey stayed with the side for one more season before joining now-defunct Pune Warriors India for three seasons. In 2014, he joined Kolkata Knight Riders and helped them win the IPL. Pandey played a stunning knock of 94 runs to help his side win the final. He stayed with the Knight Riders till 2017 before joining Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018. After spending four seasons with Sunrisers, Pandey plied his trade for Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals in 2022 and 2023 respectively. In 2024, he was signed up by the Knight Riders again and helped them win the IPL after a gap of 10 years.
