Siechem Madurai Panthers are one of the only four teams that are playing in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) since the inaugural season in 2016. They represent the city of Madurai in the competition and are owned by Siechem Technologies.

Madurai Panthers' campaign in TNPL did not start on a strong note. In the first season, they could not win a single match and finished at the bottom of the points table. Their fortunes did not change in 2017 either. For the second season in a row, they failed to register a single win and once again ended at the bottom of the points table.

In 2018, Madurai Panthers not only bounced back but did it in style. They went on to win the tournament to clinch their maiden trophy. They finished the league stage at the second spot before losing the first qualifier. In the second qualifier, they beat Lyca Kovai Kings before winning the final with a win over Dindigul Dragons.

They qualified for the playoffs in 2019 but failed to defend the title. After a third-place finish in the league stage, Madurai Panthers bowed out of the tournament with a loss against Dindigul Dragons in the second qualifier.

In 2021, Madurai Panthers bowed out at the league stage. They managed to win only 2 of their 7 league games and finished at the 6th spot in the points table. In the next season, they won 5 of the 7 league games and finished at the 3rd spot. While they qualified for the playoffs, they failed to make it to the final.

In 2023, Madurai Panthers once again qualified for the playoffs but could not progress ahead. Their campaign ended with a defeat to Nellai Royal Kings in the Eliminator. In 2024, Madurai Panthers crashed out at the league stage.
