India’s former legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has hailed India’s fine performance against Pakistan. Men in Blue were able to sail to a convincing win as they won by eight wickets. Sachin Tendulkar praised India for putting on a fine display despite playing back to back matches. India had locked horns against Hong Kong who had also given them a run for their money.

India was able to win against Hong Kong by just 26 runs. Thus, they had to be in the field for the whole of 100 overs. Consequently, they must be tired especially after playing in the hot conditions of Dubai. However, India was able to tick the right boxes against arch-rivals Pakistan.

They were able to deal with pressure and brought their best against a strong side of Pakistan. Indian bowlers laid the pillars for the win as they bundled out the visitors for just 162 runs. Thus, the main work was done by the bowling battery.

Furthermore, Indian batsmen were able to sail to the target. India won the match with 21 overs to spare and had eight wickets in hand, which goes to show their domination.

Rohit Sharma scored his 35 ODI fifty as he led from the front with the bat. Shikhar Dhawan also played a vital knock of 46 runs whereas Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik were able to get some game time under their belt. Thus, it was an all-around performance by the Men in Blue.
