The format of the league simply remains 10 teams competing with each other in a round-robin format having 7 home and 7 away matches and each team will compete twice with the teams of the opposite group and once against the teams placed in the same group. In a tournament that recorded 16.8 crores, highest viewership on its opening day, players are all set to play ther best cricket and take home the title of the IPL Indian Premier League champions. With a few new faces as captains, to some seasoned cricketers taking up the charge, the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to be an excitement extravaganza for its fans.
