Indian left-hand batsman, Yuvraj Singh is looking forward to starting up a new season to achieve his goals ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019.

However, Yuvraj is undoubtedly one of India’s most premier all-rounders to have played the game. He made his debut way back in 2000 and after that retained himself with a good reputation.

In 2011, he became the Player of the Tournament in the ICC World Cup. India won the triumph by beating Sri Lanka in the final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Moreover, throughout the domestic season, he looked a little bit pale shadow of his past. He could score only 65 runs in eight matches at a dismal average of 10.83.

Moreover, Yuvraj couldn’t weave his magic either with the ball. The southpaw is not ready to give up the spirit by any means. He is getting a few suggestions that he shouldn’t do specific training methods because of his age.

Furthermore, he is gearing himself for the upcoming domestic season. The 2018-19 Vijay Hazare One Day tournament is scheduled from September 19 and Punjab are set to play their first match against Himachal Pradesh at KSCA Stadium in Alur.

Meanwhile, Punjab didn’t announce their squad, Yuvraj is likely to find a place in the team.

Moreover, Yuvraj also wants to say that he has been told by the management that he is too old for power training. He reacted on that and said that he will do something again for him and his nation.

However, he is looking forward to a fresh start in the domestic season. He also wants to learn something new and achieve it.

Here is the Twitter post of Yuvraj Singh ahead of the new season:

“Last year I was told that m old for power training & shd stick to my normal routines. Dont tell me I can’t do something cause m going to till I reach my goals

??
Look forward to start of a new season. Remember its never too late to learn something new n achieve it
