Rahul has been the epitome of consistency in the IPL. This is the fifth straight time he has scored over 500 runs in the season consistently. Rahul began the season on a great note scoring two early centuries.

He then had a lean patch in between where he bagged a few ducks and in the last match against KKR which was almost a must-win for them scored a crafty 68 off 51 balls and along with de Kock decimated the KKR bowlers. He also has three fifties to his name in the season so far.

1) Jos Buttler – 629 Runs in 14 Matches

Buttler’s season with the bat has been a season of two halves. In the first seven games, he scored 419 runs which included three centuries. His form changed drastically in the second half with him scoring only 138 runs in the last seven games.

In RR’s last game against CSK, he scored just two off five balls. The Royals made the playoffs for the first time since 2018 and Buttler has to regain his old form to help the Royals win the final.
