It’s A Huge Honour To Know You – Sreesanth Pens Heartfelt Note For Harbhajan Singh After Spinner's Retirement

Former Indian cricketer Shanthakumaran Nair Sreesanth penned a heartfelt note for the Veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh who on Friday announced his retirement from all forms of the game.

In his illustrious career that spanned over 23 years, Harbhajan played 103 Tests, 236 One Day Internationals and 28 T20 Internationals games for India and bagged 417, 269 and 25 wickets. Also, in his highly successful Test career, Harbhajan smashed 2 centuries.

Meanwhile, Sreesanth on Twitter applauded Harbhajan and wrote that he is one of the best players to step foot into international cricket. He wrote:

You Have Been A Great Team Man, Playing With All Your Heart – Sachin Tendulkar On Harbhajan Singh

Legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar also extended his best wishes and penned a heartfelt note for Harbhajan Singh. Tendulkar hailed Harbhajan for his performance for India and said that he will never forget ” all the moment of laughter” he had with the former Indian spinner.

“What a wonderful and fulfilling career, Bhajji! I first met you at India nets in ’95-over the years, we have been part of wonderful memories. You have been a great team man, playing with all your heart,” Tendulkar wrote in a Twitter post.

“Both on the field and off it- it is always fun to have you as a part of any team. I cannot forget all the moments of laughter. You have done your best for India in your long career, we are all very proud of you. Wishing you happiness and success in the ‘doosra’ phase of your career.”
