Another important Indian Premier League stats or IPL stats is the most centuries scored by a player in the tournament. Virat Kohli holds this record as well. He has hit 8 centuries so far and is followed by his former IPL teammates Chris Gayle (7) and Jos Buttler (6).

Most sixes in IPL:

The record for hitting the most sixes in IPL belongs to Chris Gayle. The former West Indies batsman, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings, hit a staggering 357 sixes in his IPL career.

He is the only player to hit 300 or more sixes in the IPL so far. Gayle is followed by Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and AB de Villiers.

Most ducks in IPL:

A notable IPL T20 stats is the most ducks in the tournament. The dubious record is jointly held by Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik. Both have registered 18 ducks in the IPL. They are followed by Rohit Sharma, Piyush Chawla, and Sunil Narine.

Highest team score in IPL:

The record for the highest team score in IPL is held by Sunrisers Hyderabad. In IPL 2024, they scored 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

The record for the lowest team score in IPL belongs to Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In IPL 2027, the Bengaluru-based outfit was bowled out for just 49 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders.
