Young India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant’s playful act during West Indies National Cricket Team captain Nicholas Pooran’s run-out dismissal in the 4th T20I had left Team India skipper Rohit Sharma furious.

West Indies captain Pooran looked in great touch with the bat in the 4th T20I of the five-match T20I series against India on Saturday, August 6, at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.

During the run-chase, Pooran smashed 22 runs, including 3 sixes and 1 four, off the first 5 deliveries of the 5th over, which was bowled by left-arm spinner Axar Patel.

On the last ball of the over, Pooran decided to take a quick single and he pushed the ball to the covers region. The West Indies captain went for a single and opener Kyle Mayers, who was at the non-striker’s end, stopped after taking three steps and rejected the run.

Pooran was mid-way on the pitch and Indian fielder Sanju Samson fired a throw to Pant at the wicket-keeper’s end. The young wicketkeeper-batsman Pant took some extra time to inflict the run-out, and Rohit clearly looked angry at Pant’s move and the Indian captain asked Pant to whip the bails without wasting any more time.
