MI vs KKR: Mumbai Indians' Predicted Playing XI Against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Mumbai Indians play the Kolkata Knight Riders in match 56 of IPL 2022 in Mumbai on May 9, Monday. KKR needs to win this game to stay alive in the playoff race. Mumbai, on the other hand, would like to avenge their previous defeat against the side earlier in the season.

Mumbai Indians won their previous two games after losing eighth on the trot to bow out of the season. The two wins came as a big relief for skipper Rohit Sharma who was a dejected man after the first eight losses. He batted well in the last couple of games but is yet to score his first fifty of the season. Alongside Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma is another Indian batsman who has disappointed this season.

Verma has impressed one and all with his outings so far in IPL 2022. He has scored 328 runs from 10 games and batted well in the middle overs for his side. He will slot in at number four.

Kieron Pollard

Pollard has been a big disappointment for Mumbai Indians. However, the balance of the team doesn’t allow them to get him rested for a few matches. Thus e will continue to be a part of the playing XI. He will hope to contribute substantially with the bat in the last few games. He is nowhere close to his best batting form.

David finally made his presence felt in the last game playing a blinder of a knock. He should continue to be given opportunities in the remaining games. He can also be sent higher in the batting order.
