Most Fifties in IPL History

This list contains the names of the players who have scored most fifties in the history of IPL. While scoring a fifty is not very uncommon in the shortest format of the game, achieving that milestone on a regular basis is definitely rare as well as difficult.

With a team only getting 120 deliveries in an innings, the batsmen need a special effort to score big. Unlike the other formats such as Tests and ODIs, the players don't even get the time to settle in T20s. They need to play the shots right from the start and it only makes their task tougher.

However, some batsmen have still mastered the art of scoring big consistently in the IPL. Over the years, the batsmen have made a name for themselves with their remarkable consistency in the tournament. Unsurprisingly, most of those players feature in this list of most fifties in the IPL.

The record is currently held by Australia star David Warner. The World Cup-winner, who retired from international cricket in 2024, has hit a staggering 66 fifties in the IPL. He is followed by Virat Kohli who has 63 IPL half-centuries to his name. Kohli also holds the record for scoring most centuries in the IPL.

Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan is at the third spot with 53 fifties. Rohit Sharma (45) and AB de Villiers (43) complete the top five.
